Moorhead, Minn. (January 17, 2023) – With Minnesota’s 93rd legislative session underway, and North Dakota’s 68th legislative session underway, The Chamber is tracking various issues and actively advocating on behalf of its businesses. After surveying members and consulting with its Public Policy Committee, The Chamber has published its legislative priority agenda for each state.
“Workforce issues continue to hinder our region’s success, making workforce funding a major priority on both sides of the river,” said Chamber Executive Vice President Katherine Grindberg. “We are advocating for the investment in regional workforce grant programs to support talent attraction, acclimation, retainment and development. The Chamber sees the important of investing in quality-of-life assets and placemaking infrastructure, and continuing to invest in automation programs and initiatives as well as hands on experimental learning opportunities.”
