Charles joined Thoreson Steffes Trust Company in December 2018 as a Farm Manager. Charles has been in the Farm Management industry since 1998 managing farms in North Dakota, Minnesota, and South Dakota. He is a graduate of North Dakota State University in Agricultural Economics and holds his Accredited Farm Management (AFM) designation from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.

Charles is a past chair of the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra Board and member of the Red River Valley Coin Club.  Charles also loves to travel and enjoys photography.

Kelly is a principal of Thoreson Steffes Trust Company and serves as relationship manager with responsibility for trust administration, estate planning, and developing strong working relationships with clients, their family members, and their trusted advisers. She has over 30 years of personal trust experience including management roles at a large national bank. With her law degree, Kelly has experience in practicing law in the areas of estate planning, probate, and trust.
 
Kelly and her husband, Scott, have five adult children and have recently begun to welcome grandchildren into their lives.  They enjoy spending time at the lake and the mountains of Montana.

Rick is a principal of Thoreson Steffes Trust Company focused on portfolio management and investment consulting.  Rick has over 35 years of experience including serving as Chief Investment Officer for the private client group of a large national bank.  An experienced wealth management professional, his focus is on managing equity, fixed income and alternative investment portfolios for taxable clients.  Rick has held the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst since 1991 and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Minnesota.

Rick and Sue have four adult children living in Cincinnati, San Francisco, West Fargo and St. Paul.  Rick enjoys fishing, cross country skiing, travel and grandchildren.
