Women Connect -
Avalon Events Center and livestream | 3:30 p.m.
Many women never launch out and pursue their passions for one simple reason: they’re afraid. Melanie Iverson had good reason to be afraid after an attacker assaulted her in her home, breaking her nose and destroying her confidence. In pursuit of personal freedom, Melanie delves into a year and a half where she did everything she was terrified of. This commitment to overcoming fear began with public speaking and camping alone, and ultimately led her into the ISIS-controlled genocide in the Middle East on two separate occasions. Melanie breaks down practically what steps women can take to become the fearless leader she truly is.
Women statistically live in fear daily. Whether they fear for their safety, fear they aren't good enough or fear failure, women often are the reason they are held back from their goals, dreams and destiny. Melanie's inspirational speech addresses life-changing tactics on overcoming fear so that women can push past the lies they tell themselves. Everyone deserves to operate from a place of confidence, grace and dignity.
As an attendee, you will overcome the fears that are holding you back from your own success. Take tangible, baby steps to shift your focus from fear to strength. You are stronger than you think you are. Melanie will provide a curriculum-based fill-in-the-blank strategy session to change your behavior from fearful to powerful.
