Women Connect -
Avalon Events Center and livestream | 3:30 p.m.
Chamber President Shannon Full is described by her peers as one of the most catalytic leaders in the country. She describes herself as a disruptor, status quo challenger and a change agent. So how does someone come to be a leader like this?
Please join us as Shannon shares her leadership journey at this session of Women Connect. Shannon began her Chamber career at the age of 24 with little experience and knowledge in chambers of commerce. Shannon will share some of the challenges she has had to overcome as it relates to a male-dominated world, creating buy-in and consensus, balancing family life with work life, and the challenge of being in the public eye at all times. She has had a very successful 20+ year career, is highly respected at the national level, and has mentored business and community leaders, men and women throughout her career.
Beginning in March, The Chamber will be offering Women Connect as a hybrid event, which means we will have both in-person and virtual options. For the health and safety of our attendees and event staff, and to comply with state and CDC guidelines, we will be limiting occupancy, and the following adjustments will be made to in-person events: Tables will be set 6" apart, and sanitizing stations will be available, with hand sanitizers and masks. A livestream version of the event will be available online for those wishing to attend virtually.
