Decorated combat veteran Robert O’Neill will bring his expertise and insights to the metro when he headlines the 2016 Voices of Vision. O’Neill’s presentation, “Never Quit: The Story of a Life Built on Successful Missions” focuses on what he learned during his more than 400 combat missions across four theaters of war.

O’Neill has served America as a SEAL, team leader and senior chief petty officer at Naval Special Development Group in some of the most challenging, storied, clandestine military roles of our time. A highly-trained Navy SEAL, he led the military’s most elite and was involved in our nation’s most important campaigns. With most of his career shrouded in a classified cloak, O’Neill was the man on the ground we have never heard of but know exists. He was one of the quiet professionals performing the most difficult tasks in the most difficult circumstances, serving his remarkable career in the shadows and keeping America safe in the process.

One of the nation’s most decorated veterans, O’Neill has been decorated more than 52 times with honors, including two Silver Stars, four Bronze Stars with Valor, a Joint Service Commendation Medal with Valor, three Presidential Unit citations, and two Navy/Marine Corps Commendations with Valor.

Since leaving active duty, O’Neill is a co-founder of Your Grateful Nation, which provides individualized transition support for Special Operations heroes and their families. They provide executive-level mentoring, transition services, and family stabilization support. He is also a contributor to Fox News.

Voices of Vision is an annual event designed to bring nationally recognized, world-thought visionaries to the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo area. Hosting these types of well-known speakers not only gives the community the opportunity to hear and see a variety of public figures, but also gives visibility to our region and showcases our metro.

Event Cancellations and Refunds Due to costs incurred and commitments made to vendors the deadline to cancel a registration and/or to receive a refund will be no later than noon one week prior to the event for booth registrations and noon the day prior to the event for individual registrations. Any cancellations received after those deadline times will be billed to the participant whether or not they attended. Registrations may be transferred to another person in your firm only if notification is given to The Chamber office either prior to the event or at the registration table. If the event or meeting is canceled by The Chamber due to insufficient registration, act of nature or other reason beyond its control a refund or credit on account will be provided for any paid registrations.
