Senator Heidi Heitkamp will provide Chamber members a Congressional update as she wraps up her first year representing North Dakota in the United States Senate. Come hear Senator Heitkamp discuss important topics such as the federal flood insurance program, Keystone XL pipeline, the farm bill, housing, the Fargo Moorhead Diversion project as well as answer questions from members.

Sen. Heitkamp serves on the Senate's Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry; Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs; Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, Committee on Indian Affairs; and the Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Prior to taking the oath of office on January 3, 2013, Heitkamp served as the director of the Dakota Gasification Company, North Dakota's attorney general and North Dakota's tax commissioner.
