New Life Center Grand Re-Opening

“The New Life Center—A Rescue Mission providing homeless shelter services, meals, addiction recovery services, and medical respite located in Fargo, is thrilled to announce the Grand Re-Opening of its Mission on Thursday, July 11th.
 
The rescue mission invites the Fargo-Moorhead community to join them on this special occasion because of the essential role the community has played in the project. Join the New Life Center for tours, food, games, live music, and much more from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday with a short program from 5:30 to 6 p.m. at their north Fargo location, which is located at 1902 3rd Ave. N.
 
The city of Fargo was only 36 years old when the New Life Center began serving those in need. While the organization began serving in 1907 in their original location on Front Street (now Main Avenue), it moved to its current location in 1968. This project is the first time the building has been updated since they relocated over 50 years ago!
 
Founded as the Glad Tidings Mission, the New Life Center has evolved from an organization that primarily conducted religious services and neighborhood outreach work to a Christian, multi-faceted emergency and life transformation center.

The New Life Center aims to help people who are homeless and hurting go from merely surviving to truly thriving. Through REAL CHANGE, they help people discover value and find hope.

Parking for this event will be available on the streets surrounding New Life Center. Parking will also be available in the lot of the New Life Center Thrift Store, which is located southeast side of the NLC building.
