Kristi Bixby, The FARM’s owner, sees this event as a fun opportunity for customers, vendors, and community members alike. “This time of year, we are all overdue for a little fun. It’s nice to get out of the house, relax, do a little shopping while conversing with friends, maybe try something new too!”
Wild Terra Cider, North Dakota's first urban cidery and cider bar, will be on-hand offering samples of their dry and experimental hard ciders as well as selling their unique beverages that have become so popular in the area.
Ross Grothmann, of Big Beard Antiques, one of the 60+ vendors in the antique mall, is also a big fan of Wild Terra. “It’s great to have fresh options in Fargo that give you the experience of something unique, something hand-crafted, and at the same time something of our shared history. Wild Terra’s offerings and atmosphere are a fresh take on a fun place to go and a great experience. I recommend checking them out, and I’m excited they are partnering with us for this event.”
The FARM’s Cabin Fever event will feature live music from Fargo’s own Kwaician, Darin Loven, and other local musical performers.
These local musicians will be at The FARM in support of Excite Music, a non-profit organization based in Fargo, North Dakota that helps children in the F-M and West Fargo community gain access to music.
“It means so much to me to be able to support and promote Excite Music. With the organization’s encouragement and financial help, more of our area kids have access to instruments, lessons, and mentorship they otherwise wouldn’t have,” says Bixby. “It’s important to have fun - and we can do good too.”
The FARM’s Cabin Fever event runs Saturday, March 7th, from noon until 6 p.m.. This event is free and open to the public. For more details and complete listing of other FARM events see farmantiques.net/events.
