The footprint, skyline and vibrancy of the FMWF area have progressed immensely over the decades. It is important our community continues to evolve to meet the growing demands of our diverse region. At this Eggs & Issues we will discuss three major community projects in the works that will further define our region and have a significant impact on the future vitality and competitiveness of our metro.  

Panelists and community leaders will discuss the plans, details, budgets and impacts of the FARGODOME Reimagined project, the Hector International Airport Transformation project, and the Downtown Moorhead Redevelopment Project. Attendees can expect to gain a solid understanding of what each project will bring to our community, as well as status updates, funding sources, opportunities and challenges, contributions to our business community, local economy, quality of life and more.

FARGODOME Reimagined 
The FARGODOME recently turned 30 years old and has hosted over 3,000 events with more than 13 million in attendance. With a financial impact of $24 to $42 million for our region each year, there is no doubt that this venue plays a major role in the vitality of our region. Discussion topics to expect: 

• Renovations to seating, suites, restrooms and concourse area
• Expansion, modernization and addition of Convention Center
• Financing, regional impact and tourism  

Downtown Moorhead Development - Public Library & Community Center 
Unlocking an era of unprecedented opportunity for Downtown Moorhead. Spanning nine city blocks, the Downtown Moorhead Development will transform the current site of the Moorhead Center Mall to create a place where people come together. More specifically, Mayor Carlson will discuss the new public library and community center.
