Mental and behavioral health have become pressing challenges and topics, nationally and locally. With a growing number of adults and children struggling with depression, anxiety and other mental and behavioral health challenges, coupled with a shortage of mental health providers, this issue has arguably turned into a crisis. At this Eggs & Issues, we will discuss why the number of affected individuals has rapidly increased, how businesses are impacted, key statistics in our region, and what is being done and can be done to remove the stigma surrounding mental health and provide essential services to those in need.
