With familial ties to ND, Dave's father, William (Bill) Cofell was born in Edgeley and raised in Montpelier, Dave returns to North Dakota for a rare show opportunity! Broad spectrum Americana - Progressive folk, country, rock, blues, originals and well known covers on 6 and 12-string guitars and banjo. Dave hails from Collegeville, MN - National and international touring, ASCAP PRO, member of Recording Academy for Grammy Awards, Folk Alliance International (FAI), Folk Alliance Region Midwest (FARM), Minnesota Music Coalition, Local 1000 AFM and endorsed by John Pearse Strings Shubb Capos and Breedlove Guitars. Dave is a study in easygoing amiability and unforced charisma. His music is eclectic, a woven tapestry of songs and stories with an over-all arc that comes together and tells a tale to remember.
