The Event
For every numbered raffle ticket sold, golf balls will be numbered and placed randomly in a bucket and dropped from a helicopter at approximately 6:20 p.m. while it hovers over the driving range at the Oxbow Country Club. Numbers will be assigned in order of purchase. The first participant whose numbered golf ball goes into the hole or lands closest to the pin will win $1,000.
Three judges will be selected to verify the winning ball. Golf balls that fall into the hole will be lifted out and recorded in the order they were removed. The golf ball at the bottom of the hole shall be declared the winner. Should no golf ball fall into the hole, judges will measure surrounding golf balls to ascertain the closest to the hole. The contestant who purchased the winning golf ball will be announced at the 19th Hole Happy Hour Reception.
How To Participate
To enter, click on the registration button above to indicate the number of golf balls you would like to purchase. After entering your contact information, you will receive a confirmation email stating that a Chamber staff representative will be contacting you to deliver your raffle ticket and collect payment. Only cash or check will be accepted for payment. Participants will be assigned a numbered golf ball(s) that corresponds to your raffle ticket purchase.
In the event of inclement weather, a reschedule for the drop will be provided based on coordination and availability with the course.
