About the presenter |
Angela Fowler serves as the Academic Personnel Coordinator in the Office of Vice Provost for Faculty and Equity at North Dakota State University. Angela has served in this role for 13 years and assists search committee’s with the hiring for all faculty, extension, athletic coaches and administrative positions on campus. In addition, Angela partners with the Equity team at NDSU to deliver trainings, events and committee work on all issues relating to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Angela has been a trainer for Community of Respect, Safe Zone, Title IX, issues on unintended bias, microaggressions and upstander for 10 years. Prior to joining NDSU, Angela worked for over a decade in the non-profit sector with the majority of that time doing education and public relations for the local Rape and Abuse Crisis Center. When not at work, Angela stays busy as the mom of two teenage boys.
