About the presenter
Jodi brings balance to teams, projects and challenges of every scope. As a member of Flint Group since 2004, she focuses on connecting with clients, managing teams, developing strategy and leading problem-solving with employees. Under her leadership, the company is thriving. As Jodi explains: “We have a team of very smart people who are unafraid to say what they think. I balance that with common sense. Regardless of generation or gender, Flint looks for disrupters who will be shaking up the company and the industry for future growth.”
Jodi became a voice for Women in Leadership quite by accident. With more than 25 years of marketing and advertising experience, she worked hard to make her mark in male dominated businesses. In the last few years, Jodi realized she had experiences and stories that could help women grow in business and leadership. As President of Flint Group, 75% of the leadership team is female and 70% of Flint Group employees are women. You can read her blog on Women in Leadership.
Jodi graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead with bachelor’s degrees in English, mass communications and psychology. She earned her master’s degree in mass communications from North Dakota State University in Fargo. She has more than 25 years of marketing and advertising experience. Prior to joining Flint Group, she served as a brand and research manager at Microsoft Business Solutions and as marketing director at Nodak Mutual Insurance. A believer in lifelong learning, Jodi also teaches Digital Marketing at Concordia College. This helps her stay on top of trends as well as teach future employees.
