Becoming a champion of change begins with trust. A strong value system, along with clear communication, fosters trust and makes navigating change easier. Understanding how your personal values align with those of your organization helps to drive focus and results during organizational changes. In this session, you’ll learn more about your own personal values and how they relate to your organization’s vision and values. Discover more about how to earn trust, identify and overcome barriers, and navigate change in the workplace.
We’ll talk about how trust, or lack thereof, drives good or bad results during change. We will uncover why we do and do not trust at the beginning of change and how to overcome those barriers. Next, understanding how to be a champion of change and understanding the challenges that come with it are extremely important when influencing organizational change.

About the presenter
Jay Peltier is a native of North Dakota and proud graduate of North Dakota State University with degrees in Business Administration and Mass Communications. He is a Parner of Dale Carnegie of ND and NW MN. Jay spent the majority of his career as a teacher, coach and entrepreneur in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a coach he was named CHSAA 4A Track and Field Coach of the Year, Adidas Runners Roost Coach of the Year as well as being named Sasson Sharify Award winner. Jay’s energy is focused on serving others through transformation and developing communities by creating cultures of high productivity partnered with high engagement. Jay enjoys spending his spare time in outdoor adventures, relaxing with friends and family and reading.
