Today’s reality: Leaders are navigating uncharted waters. They ask: How do we preserve culture and engagement amid change and uncertainty? How will this impact employee retention? In this session, we will explore strategies to prevent burnout and continue fostering a winning team in our current circumstances.
Employees waste countless hours “going through the motions” while struggling to remain engaged. Using real-life case studies, we will highlight the four forces of disengagement and their impact on our work in changing times. For this workshop, you will have the opportunity to take the Predictive Index, a behavioral assessment tool, to learn more about what motivates you. This will allow you to develop strategies for yourself and your teammates in real time throughout the presentation.
The four force forces of disengagement:
• Job fit - Is the job description you were hired for different from your true talents?
• Manager impact – Does your manager’s coaching style differ from how you are motivated?
• Team dynamics – Do you lack a sense of belonging within your team?
• Culture - Do you feel what the culture expects of you is not who you really are?
The more you understand yourself, the more you will thrive in your career and working relationships. You will learn how to foster increased self-awareness, which will help you communicate more effectively, strengthen team dynamics, and improve manager-direct report relationships within both in-person and remote workplaces.
