Description

Business Training

Wednesday, January 9 | 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Holiday Inn Fargo

We’ve long known that employees tend to prefer to work toward the top of their skill set, and they want to be engaged and have a sense of purpose at work. What’s different now? The lion’s share of today’s workforce (68%) is comprised of Gen Xers and Millennials, who value these elements even more than previous generations.

This generational shift is putting a different demand on leaders and managers. In fact, approaches that have worked in the past may have the opposite effect now: causing tension, stifling innovation, and driving turn-over. The good news is there is an approach that can improve morale and performance: facilitative leadership.

In this presentation, learn trends driving the change, a practical approach to the facilitative leadership style, and why and how it works.
