The Challey Institute is hosting a conversation with Dr. Sam Peltzman, moderated by Menard Family Director John Bitzan. This event is free and open to all members of the NDSU community and the public. The talk will begin at 4 p.m. with a Q&A-style discussion about government regulation and its unintended effects, current public policy issues, and Dr. Peltzman's experiences in the famous "Chicago School" of economics and on the President's Council of Economic Advisers. After the presentation, audience members will have an opportunity to ask questions. All are invited to stay for a reception with hors d'oeuvres and refreshments at 5:30 p.m. Dr. Peltzman will speak in the Louise S. Barry Auditorium at NDSU's Barry Hall.
