A Cobber Conversation about Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

As America confronts systems and instances of injustice, please join us for a conversation with African American alumni the Rev. Kenneth Wheeler ’74 and Ashley Thompson ’16.

For these Cobbers of color, what has been their personal experience as a student and beyond? How can we as a community of students and alumni respond to the injustice we see? What are the current campus initiatives related to diversity, equity and inclusion that are in effect and what can be done to support them?

With introductions from President William Craft and Chief Diversity Officer Dr. Edward Antonio and moderated by Alumni Board Diversity Committee Chair Emily McGarvey ’02, we will have a chance to hear important perspectives and join in critical conversation.
